Sunday Afternoon Show

Dara
Programme Name:
Sunday Afternoon Show

Presenter Name:
Dara Duffy

What attracted you into presenting a magazine programme?
I love the mix of music and chat. I try to keep it as lighthearted as possible – nothing too serious for a Sunday afternoon!

How do you select the items of information for the programme?
I surf the internet for funny news stories and I’m a bit of a telly addict so I include highlights of the TV week ahead.

How do you choose the music for the programme?
I tend to chose artists and songs that I like or that people have requested. I also try to play a few songs from artists who are celebrating their birthdays or have concerts coming up.

How can listener’s get involved?
By texting or ringing in – I love to hear from listeners!

What other programmes on near90fm do you like to listen to?
Dave O’Connor’s Saturday Morning Show, Jimmy’s Rustic Rock and Roll Romantic All-Request Radio Show and any of the sports programmes
