Interactive beginners workshop in TV Production

For anyone who is interested in the process of making TV programmes, Near TV is going to run a 2 day practical workshop where 6 participants will get an overview of TV production from Pre to Post Production. This is a beginners workshop so no previous experience is needed.

The workshop will consist of a brief introduction on how to shoot interviews using a camera and audio recording equipment. This will be followed by a practical exercise where participants will shoot Vox Pop interviews in the local community and finally there will be a demonstration of how these interviews are edited together to make a short Vox Pop video.

Location: Near TV, Coolock Development Centre, Bunratty Road, Coolock, Dublin 17.

Date: Wednesday April 24th and Thursday April 25th 2024

Time: 10.00am to 5.00pm

This workshop is free of charge. You need to be available and take part on both days. You can register by emailing Kristian@neartv.ie. For the kind of thing you’ll be making during the workshop see the videos below.
