Culture Shots marks the start of National Volunteering Week by exploring both motivations for volunteering and the beneficial impact of volunteers have on communities.
First up Marie Lall interviews Sinead O’Reilly and Maria Keavney of the Legion of Mary Hostel for Homeless Women, about what you get when you give your time.
Later, Mariaam Bhatti speaks to Sara Bennett, Manager and Volunteer Coordinator of Fighting Words, about how the centre has benefited from the participation of its volunteers.
