Off the Shelf remembers S.S. Hare and S.S. Adela

Joe Byrne talks to David Cotter, a member of The Adela and Hare Centenary Commemoration Commitee, about the unveiling of Two Plaques at Sir Rogers Quay and The Custom House, to honor all those who lost their lives when in 1917 two mercant ships; the “S.S. Adela” and the “S.S. Hare” where sunk by German U Boats on the Irish Sea. Most, if not all who died came from around The Dublin Docks Area.
